Dreamland for the children, largest Dolls Museum in the country spreading across an area of 5184 square feet. 

Museum is divided into two parts. One part is for the collection from the Europe, the U.S, Australia and New Zealand and the other for the Asian Countries including India. The Indian contribution sums up to around 500 unique dolls dressed up in the Indian attire worn all across the country. Some dolls are also the representation of the different dance forms of India.

 

Watching such a huge collection of beautiful dolls all together is a delighting experience rejoiced by the children. Not only does it bring joy to their faces but also educates the about a lot many things around the world.

Interesting Facts About the Dolls Museum

  • The dolls in traditional Indian costumes which are made at the Dolls Workshop attached to Dolls Museum are given in exchange for other dolls or gifts from other countries. They are also sold to collectors and other doll museums in India as well as foreign countries.

  •  Every Indian costume doll made at the Dolls Workshop undergoes careful research to bring out the physical features, clothing and jewellery of each of the characters. 

  • Most of the dolls that one can see at the museum were received as gifts
